The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026)
Release Date: May 22, 2026
Director: Jon Favreau
Produced by: Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni
The galaxy’s favorite duo is officially making the leap from Disney+ to the big screen. After three seasons of bounty hunts, darksaber drama, and adorable coos, The Mandalorian & Grogu will continue their story in a full-blown theatrical adventure. No plot details yet, but if you’ve been watching the show, you know their dynamic has evolved into something genuinely special—part father-son, part warrior-wizard tag team.
Expect that signature mix of Western grit, found-family heart, and some serious Force moments. With Favreau and Filoni at the helm, this one isn’t just fan service—it’s a celebration of everything that made The Mandalorian a breakout hit.
And you KNOW Grogu’s gonna steal every scene.....again....
OH, AND SIGOURNEY WEAVER!!!
LET'S KRIFFIN' GO!!

Star Wars: Starfighter (2027)
Release Date: May 28, 2027
Director: Shawn Levy (Deadpool & Wolverine)
Writer: Jonathan Tropper
Starring: Ryan Gosling
Now this one came outta hyperspace like a surprise TIE fighter ambush: Star Wars: Starfighter is an all-new story set five years after The Rise of Skywalker, and it’s kicking off a fresh narrative thread in the Star Wars universe.
Ryan Gosling will take the lead in what’s being described as a fast-paced, high-energy space action film with an emotional core. We don’t know who he’s playing yet—Jedi? Pilot? Some gray-area rogue just trying to make it through the chaos? But with Levy directing, we can expect a perfect balance of humor, heart, and spectacle.
And best of all? It’s not tied to any legacy characters or trilogies. It’s something new, which is super refreshing and wide open for surprise cameos, deep lore dives, or just some good ol’ space drama.
We'll report more news as the events unfold!!
